Berlin travel diary day 2

Hey guys!
So this is day 2 of my trip to Berlin with school!

we woke up at about 7am so we could all shower and then there was a knock at our door, I was still in my pjs at this point, but I went to open it, only to find 3 MALE teachers standing there, as you can imagine, I was slightly embarrassed, but my pjs were cute! haha. anyways, we all got showered and dressed, then went down for breakfast. This was actually pretty decent because there was a wide range of foods for us.  My friend and I went to register before heading to the station(see, we were there A LOT!) to go to Sachsenhausen, which was a concentration camp. On the train, thick snow started to fall. As we started to walk (yes WALK!!!) about half a mile from the station, the snow got gradually thicker and faster. Sadly it didn't stick.

We got to the camp and had a very compelling tour. It really made me think about the awful conditions that these people had to survive through. We heard some horrific stories from the camp. I believe that everybody should visit a concentration camp at some point in their lives, because it's so important that this never happens again.

After the tour, we walked back to the station. At this point, the wind and snow were absolutely horrible and I couldn't physically move my face. Thankfully we got onto the train and back into Berlin. My friend and I ate our... interesting... lunch on the train. We then went to the Story of Berlin Museum and Bunker. This was probably one of my favourite parts of the trip because we saw more than just the war, and how it was before and after, as well as during soviet control. I also enjoyed it because we were inside!!!! After that we finally went back to the hostel to have dinner and relax for a bit.

After dinner we walked to the Reichstag building, (the German Parliament building) and we went up to the glass dome. For the second night in a row, we had amazing views of Berlin, which will never leave my memory.

we got back to the hostel at about 10pm so started to get ready for bed. My room were in bed by 11, apart from Emily (thanks Em for keeping us up!) and I gradually fell asleep... until I was woken up by everybody running up and down the corridor outside our room and shouting. I lay there fuming for about an hour until our teachers came to shout at everybody to go to bed.  Then I went to sleep very very quickly.

That was day two! i'm so sorry for the long gap! Day 3 will definitely have a shorter gap between!!

Berlin travel diary 2017

hey guys! So it is my half term and I have been trying to think of an idea for a new blog post for agess, but as you can see it hasn't exactly worked, so I have decided to do a Travel diary. Last month I was lucky enough to go to Berlin, Germany with my school on a history trip. we left on Thursday 12th January at the most ridiculous time imaginable. 3:30 AM?!?!?!?! Which meant I had to wake up at 2:45!?! So When I got to school, I registered and sat down next to an *acquaintance* because my two friends hadn't arrived. We drove to London Standstead, and I tried to sleep, but thanks to the boys behind me, that didn't last long AT ALL! (thanks Joe, also known as the bane of my existence!!). At about 5:40 we arrived at the airport, so we got into our registration groups to walk up to security and check in. In the queue, I managed to stand with my best guy friend(known since reception!) and we were talking rubbish because it was about 6am in the morning and we don't like being up at that kind of time. It took a while to get through security, because there were 70 just from my school, then the general public. Plus a couple of us had a LOT of stuff! After being a loud to get some food, we went to board the plane. I ended up getting a window seat, however I was sat next to two boys who I'm not too friendly with, but we all just slept on the flight, so that's okay. We got to Berlin at about 10:30, then a train to the city centre to drop our bags off at the hostel, which I thought was actually quite nice. I was sharing a room with 6 other girls, and we had a shower room and a toilet with 2 sinks and we had 3 big mirrors, which was good when we were all doing make up in the mornings!! We walked back to the train station(genuinely spent most of the trip here!) and went to get lunch. then we walked across the river to the Brandenburg gate and did a walking tour. I thought that the guy who did it was really good, but we were all so tired that nobody properly appreciated it. This lasted 2 hours and led us to a museum (name slips my mind now) however our feet were sooo cold that my friends and I just sat there until it was time to head back to the hostel. Whilst we were sat there, I had a conversation with a couple of my favourite teachers about TV and the evening activities, Oh and of course sleeping! We quickly headed back to the hostel via the train station, to have a questionable dinner of weird sausage things with cream(?) in the middle and salad, then we got back onto  a train to the Berlin TV tower. we had amazing views of the city and my close friend and I had another conversation with the brilliant teachers on the trip about. At 9:30, we headed back to the hostel to go to bed(FINALLY!). As soon as we got to the room, we were all getting ready for bed and I'm sure i was asleep by about 10:30!!   Day 2 and 3 will be up VERY SOON I PROMISE!!   Love from  Ebonydaylightt x x x x Instagram: @ebonydaylightt

New era!

Hello guys!  So if you follow my Instagram, you will know that I posted a selfie! I wanted to tell you all that I'd love to start doing things like makeup tutorials and outfits of the days. I hope you would like me to do it.  Anyways... moving on, I got my mock results back, and let's just say I'm not the best student in my year :| this year I'm doing my final exams for GCSEs and I know I need to work sooo much harder. However I got a B in my history mock. CHRISTMAS 2016

HELLO YOU LOVELY LOT!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year because you are amazing. Every single one of you. You deserve the best possible lives and I can't express how much your support means to me!! 

2016 has been an absolute whirlwind for me because there have been so many ups and downs. I've made best friends, got a boyfriend(!!) and got a GCSE, I've been to an amazing wedding, had a fabulous party and met my favourite rugby player. But there have also been lows. Friendship breakups, terrifying days, saddening days and gruelling days. However with the help of my best friends and family, they made me realise I could go on, even when I thought I couldn't and supported me with hard decisions and through hard times. Being able to fall back and talk to these people made me realise just how lucky I am. I have cried(with happiness!), laughed, joked and smiled  because of them and I love them all so dearly. So thank you to all of you that have made this year that extra bit special and you mean the absolute world to me. 

If you ever feel alone, there will always be one person that cares about you. Even if you don't realise it at first, somebody loves you. If you feel like there is nobody there, well I am. I care for every single one of you and I am always here. I will always try to help with your problems and help you fantastic people.

life update!

Hi guys!
So within the last 2 weeks, Ebonydaylightt turned 1 year old! I am ridiculously happy that I got this far and with all your help, this past year has been a dream for me. I've met some amazing people, have been gathering more followers ( You Beauties!) and have been (hopefully!) improving my writing. However something else has happened! I, Milly, have a boyfriend! His name is Daniel and he is the sweetest boy I have ever met and I am so happy about it.

To be honest I'm surprised anybody liked me but I'm so happy it's somebody that I get on with and know well. We're also good friends and have a lot in common.

In other news (ooh could be a news presenter?!?!) I am starting my mocks in a week and a half and I am VERY scared in case I mess up my exams. Thankfully I have a whole day without any exams which means I can stay at home!!

I also went to 2 rugby matches recently, Wales vs Australia, and Harlequins vs Worcester. They were amazing! At Harlequins I met Jack Clifford (for the second time in 3 days!), Joe Gray (second time in a year!), Dave Ward and Tim Visser. They were all lovely, apart from the fact that Jack Clifford now thinks I stalk him (thanks mum -_- ) And at Wales I SAW HALLAM AMOS!!!! If you know me, you will know that he is one of my 3 favourite players ever!!!

Anyways, thank you all for reading this update, I will try to upload more after my mocks but hopefully you understand it'll hard until then!

What I got for my birthday 2016

Last Tuesday was my 16th birthday so I thought that I'd so the normal "what I got for my birthday". I'm not trying to brag with anything I got but I'm so grateful for everything I recieved.

Celebrity Crushes!

Hi Guys!
Firstly I need to apologise for not writing for over month! I was on holiday and everything went so fast, then I started Year 11 and I wanted to settle into the routine, but I'm really looking forward to the next couple of posts I've got planned! So this post is about my Celebrity crushes! As we all know, the summer Olympics and Paralympics were/ are in Rio De Janeiro and let me tell you, there were some HOT guys there this year!! also it will go over the other 3 million ;) I'll add their Instagrams so you can all go stalk them:)

1. Tyler Morgan- if you follow my Instagram, or know me personally, you will know how much I love The Welsh Rugby player, he has it all, Blonde hair, blue eyes, MUSCLES, cute smile. He hasn't played many international matches, but I still LOVE him. Instagram:@tylermorgan13
2. Max Whitlock- Our DOUBLE Olympic gold medalist. This man is a blessing :) he has a smile that    could literally melt icebergs, He's a gymnast so he's strong and he is shy and adorable. He deserved all of the success and I hope he does well in future competitions! Instagram: @maxwhitlock
